You can check the deployment file, /var/lib/one/datastores/<SYSTEM_DS>/<VM_ID>/deployment.0 to see if device 0 is well configured.
as it turns out, it seems that it has something to do with the persistent. when i choose “Instantiate as persistent”, the problem occurs. when i don’t - the problem doesn’t occur and the vm is created. i don’t need the persistent so i consider it solved
