About patching of release version

Good day, everyone!
Can someone answer to my few questions about developer version of Nebula and upgrading it?

  1. We use OpenNebula + Ceph. We encountered an issue #2052 cause users work with snapshots in described manner.
  2. In 5.7.85 this issue have workaround known as “mixed mode for ALLOW_ORPHANS”. Can we some how patch 5.6.1 to include this workaround and don’t break ability to upgrade to 5.8 release?
  3. If not, is there any way to install 5.7.85 and then upgrade to 5.8? I know that developers says that it’s not possible but may be there is another workaround to it? :slight_smile:
